Type Approval for Chad
The conformity requirements are basically identical to those of the European Union. (Declaration of Conformity according to EU Directive 2014/53/EU). We are supported by a local partner and local representative who directly cooperates with the authority in N'Djamena, whereby certificates can be acquired within a short processing time. The homologation process in Chad does not require local laboratory testing or contact with local representatives. However, product samples are requested for inspection by the authority. The certificates have a limited validity period, currently five years and approved products are not subject to mandatory labeling.
